NFS

NFS uses RPC to transfer files, there are 3 versions

You need nfs-common

You need a share mounted
sudo mount -t nfs IP:share /tmp/mount/ -nolock

sudoRun as root
mountExecute the mount command
-t nfsType of device to mount, then specifying that it’s NFS
IP:shareThe IP Address of the NFS server, and the name of the share we wish to mount
-nolockSpecifies not to use NLM locking

Uses port 2049
